Response to 1st Draft Feedback
After handing in our first draft on the 22nd November, which had been completed the day before. We received both a grade and constructive feedback to improve the grade. In which we received a C+ grade as well as some comments on how the shots with lens flares off the river Thames were highly effective. However, we also got a piece of constructive criticism stating that we needed something else running throughout the video, for example a storyline which keeps being jumped back to. Due to our video becoming very repetitive with the artist standing with a guitar in his hands.Therefore, in response to this feedback, I believe that we should get a female performer, and create a storyline around the Artist losing the girl, and wanting her to "come home". This storyline may be around 1-1:30 minutes long and it is played periodically thorough the music video, and the spaces around the story are filled with our favourite shots of the current draft.

Filming - 11th November
We went back to Putney after realising some shots we did before, were out of focus and too shaky to use for our first draft. We did some more esthablishing shots of just the bridge, then as we edited before we went out to film, we knew which shots we were missing. This made us organised when filming as we knew exactly what we needed to do, such as more lip syncing shots etc, which made this filming session alot more successful. Also this time, the weather was a lot better as the sun was out so we were able to get the lens flares we wanted. Lastly,
the first time we came to Putney, we werent able to get a guitar,
however this time we did, so we recorded many shots with the artist and
the guitar.

Reflective Editing Post
Tuesday 1st November -- This was our first editing day, which we only had shots for one location (Morden) at this time. We just started our project on Premiere Pro, importing all the shots we have filmed on to the draft, and started to link up some lip syncing shots, to the correct position in the song.
- Overall, we used this time to focus on the Morden establishing at the start of the song where there is no lyrics.
- On Tuesday, we now had shots from Putney and Morden so our editing was mainly to link up the lip syncing shots to the song. Once we done this, we could cut shots where we wanted, and start making up our music video, when all the shots were linked up with the song correctly.
- Overall, we used this time to link up our lip syncing shots, at Morden and Putney, to the correct position in the song.
Tuesday 15th November -
- Now that we had all our shots from 2 locations into Premiere Pro, we now could start making our music video draft by cutting up shots and making it match to the beat. After this period of 3 hours to edit, we had our shots cutting to the beat, and verse 1 & 2 nearly complete, with just a few more shots needed to put in. To be able to do more, we need to film at night, where we need to start a fire which we are doing on the Sunday 20th November.

Reflective Production Posts
Filming days - 21st & 31st October.
On the 21st we mainly filmed establishing shots as our artist, George wasn't available, which we then played around with the camera, trying to get a lens flare and out of focus to in focus shots, etc. The only problem was some shots we filmed were out of focus which we didn't notice at the time but could see when we got the shots on the computer, and also some shots were too shaky to use in our music video. Next time, we will practice more with the fig rig to make our shots more steady, and to film the shots more than once to try and achieve a better focus.
From these 2 filming sessions we can see that, we need to reshoot some shots from Morden park which were shaky (mainly tracking shots), and need to go to Putney bridge and georges house. Our next filming session will be Friday 4th November.
