- The lighting used in this music video, makes the video appear much higher quality than it actually is, due to the way they use it. For example, at the start when each light turns on after the other, it makes it look more professional & overall just better to watch. Low-key lighting is used to also make the group stand out, with the spotlight on them.
- The costume used in this video, looks expensive such as a suit & tie, and makes the group look more professional.
- The location of an expensive, big house also gives the impression of a higher production video, even though they had such low budget.
- From this music video, it shows costume and location play a big part in making the production look professional. So in my music piece, I will make sure we think carefully about how we want to look, and where we want it to be set. Also lighting, in this case, is important as it makes the group stand out, which we can use in our video.

- This low budget music video appears to have a higher production value due to the way they use fast paced editing, short takes, and cross cutting.
- Fast paced editing is used throughout the video which makes it looks professional and gives it a higher production value. This is because it has alot of different shots used, due to many short takes, which goes to the beat of the music, and matches the lip-syncing.
- Many different short takes are used, with low-key lighting used in most of them. All shots changes to the beat of the song, which makes it look like a high quality music video.
- Special effects are used of some distorted videos etc, which also makes the video look high quality, as well as creating a tense atmosphere throughout the song, which would have been very time consuming.
- Superimposition is used when distorting an image, and is a special effect to make certain colours stand out, which makes it appear as a high quality piece even with a low budget.
- A different kind of style is used in this video, which is used to create a type of tense atmosphere. It is done by using short takes, so many shots can be used very quickly, and how they use lighting very effectively.
- In this music video, production is made to look professional by the use of lighting, and fast paced editing. They use a lot of shots in a short space of time, with low-key lighting throughout, creating a type of tense and creepy atmosphere.
